How to commission a portrait:

Collect some favorite photos of your child/pet. Non-flash, well-lit photos without heavy shadows or bright sunlight work best. Click on examples below. I prefer photos in which the subjects teeth don't show, but the choice is yours. Take a moment to write down some of your child's/pet's favorite activities, nick-names, signature outfits, toys, etc. Then gather the photos and reflections and send or email them to me. I will first sketch some ideas and allow you to preview them before beginning work on the final piece.

Prices:

$300 for an approximately 5"x7" portrait (each additional child/pet in the same piece is $100/each)

Shipping and Handling with insurance is $25-$30.

These are small works on paper that need framing. I am happy to mat and frame the portrait for you or ship it unframed. Matting and framing for pieces around 5"x7" is $50/metal frame, $75/wood frame.
